About

I am in my second year of Ph.D. studies at York University's Science and Technology Studies program, where I also studied for my Master's Degree, awarded in 2022.

Prior to returning to academia, I worked for roughly twenty years in the online software industry, beginning at Adobe Systems in Silicon Valley and continuing on at several leading software-as-a-service firms in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina and in Toronto. My titles during my software career included Web Developer, Usability Team Lead, Scrum Master and VP of Product.

I am lucky to live in the Riverside neighbourhood of Toronto with my wife Kate, our kids Chaya, Jack and Charlie, and our dog Shelby. In the rare moments these days when I am not reading for comps, I enjoy live and recorded music and cooking of many types (but especially Persian).
